PKD Consulting Engineers Ltd is a Structural Engineering consultancy employing Chartered Structural Engineers covering North West England and was formed by Director Paul Davies B.Eng (Hons) C.Eng. M.I.Struct.E

Paul has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years and graduated in Civil Engineering with honours from London University. He is a Chartered Structural Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers and Engineering Council. With experience working for both large Contractors and Engineering Consultancies. His previous employment was as Associate Director with a large consultancy in Manchester specialising in designing prestigious buildings for the Commercial, Residential, Public and Retail sectors with construction costs of up to £50 million. Paul has a wide experience in designing many different buildings and structures including Police Headquarters, Government buildings, residential houses, Universities, Football Club refurbs, Multi storey apartments, Offices, hotels, industrial warehouses, Waste recycling facilities, retail units, highway bridges and structures for the petrochemical industry.

We are happy to work with the design team to produce competitive and innovative design solutions using all the latest construction methods and materials. Our structural designs and drawings are produced using the latest Autocad drawing software by a team of trusted and experienced Chartered Structural Engineers and Technicians.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our structural inspections and Structural Reports. For this reason we only use experienced Chartered Structural Engineers to carry out our inspections. We are able to assess a wide variety of commercial and residential buildings constructed using various methods, both new and old including period Victorian and Edwardian properties. All Structural Engineers who attend construction sites have the appropriate site safety equipment, CSCS Visitors cards and our company has appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Our offices are based in Bramhall, Cheshire and we work throughout the North West England, including Cheshire, Manchester and Stockport.
